Pawn

Oddly enough, I think my favorite part of this piece is the torso. Its the first time I've painted a torso that I felt actually made some sense, even if its still kinda funky, anatomically. The pawn was actually the hardest piece to design for the chess set. I wanted to come up with a design where he would attack from the side (since pawns can never attack in the front), but it was pretty hard to come up with something like that that was still humanoid, so I just went with this. At least he has a shield...
